Advancement conditions
Manage authorized records across the advancement workflow.
Advancement of grade by seniority (avancement à l’ancienneté). A file that does not meet every condition below is rejected by the commission.
Category B1 → A1
- At least 40 years of age.
- Have reached index 495.
- Have spent at least 2 years on index 495, meaning an advancement is owed.
When all conditions are met, the officer is eligible for advancement to the next stage.
Category A1 → A2
- 15 years of service or at least 40 years of age.
- Have reached index 740.
- Have spent at least 2 years on index 740, meaning an advancement is owed.
When all conditions are met, the officer is eligible for advancement to the next stage.
These conditions are checked automatically when personnel information is entered. The commission keeps the final decision.
